Taking life a little less seriously & a little more joyfully

There are far too many pleasures gifted to us Earth-side to never indulge; I am no monk, born to a mountain top temple, swaddled in orange.

So I will enjoy.

In decadent tastes & rich colours

Heart thumping notes & belly laughs

Deep conversation & shallow nonsense

Shapeshifting as often as I please

I do not strive, for some lotus posed enlightenment elevating me above my fellow man.

But I do, instead, find peace in daily micro-dosed enlightenments, that elevates my growth & service to Brothers & Sisters

The balance of hedonism & responsibility is my Goddess given right.

So I shall indulge

And enjoy

And embrace

The sensual pleasures of this land below my feet

Reflecting, Naturally

I open my lungs wide and allow my pain to match the roar of the River in front of me. It’s a strange feeling. We’re often taught to be quiet and still; that if your Being is too loud it may make the world around you uncomfortable. But the storm within me is too loud, too strong. It must be released. I scream till my lungs ache. I cry till my throats sore. I feel the blood rushing to my face, my neck. To release such sounds so willingly, is a sweet freedom indeed.
